Barq Automations (https://barqautomations.com) is the name of this software and agency service. Barq Automations is operated by its founder as an independent project based in Egypt. Barq Automations is not yet registered as a separate legal entity.

Data Controller: Barq Automations acts as a data controller for account, billing, and website data about you as a customer.

Data Processor: For personal data about your leads and customers that you process through Barq Automations (such as form submissions, missed-call text-back contact lists, and chat transcripts), you are typically the controller, and Barq Automations acts as a processor on your instructions, subject to a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) when we offer one.

We collect information in the following ways:

Directly from You:

  • Contact information (Name, Business Email, Phone Number, Business Name).
  • Account and Billing Information (Payment details processed via secure payment providers; we do not store full payment card numbers).
  • Knowledge Base Content (Documents, website text, FAQs provided to train your custom AI agent).

Automated Data Processing (On Behalf of Clients):

  • Customer Interaction Logs (Phone numbers, SMS message bodies, chat transcripts, metadata, and form submission data).

Technical & Analytics Data:

  • IP addresses, browser types, device information, and interaction logs captured automatically when visiting our website for security and analytical performance.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process personal data for the following specific purposes:

  • To Provide & Operate Services: Delivering web builds, running AI agents, executing automated SMS/Email lead responses, and managing calendar bookings.
  • To Train Custom AI Agents: Ingesting business documentation to enable AI chatbots to answer FAQs accurately on your website.
  • Communication: Sending transactional updates, human-intervention alerts (notifying a business owner when a live agent needs to step into a chat), and responding to support queries.

  • Communications & Hosting Infrastructure: We utilize secure cloud hosting, database platforms, and messaging gateways (SMS/Email) to deliver automated messages and route incoming web traffic.

5. Automated Communications & Opt-Out (SMS Policy)

If you or your customers receive automated text messages, missed-call text-backs, or review requests powered by Barq Automations:

  • Opt-Out: End users can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any automated text message.
  • Help: End users can reply HELP for support instructions or contact the operating business directly.

6. Data Retention & Security

We implement industry-standard encryption, firewalls, and access controls to protect personal data both in transit and at rest.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or to comply with legal and contractual obligations. Client knowledge base data and chat logs can be purged upon account termination.
